Steer translates the organization’s context into a prioritized view of governance and management objectives. It narrows a large reference model into a baseline leadership can challenge and use.
What the designer asks about #
- Enterprise strategy and goals.
- The IT risk profile and current IT-related issues.
- Threat landscape and compliance requirements.
- The role of IT, sourcing model, and implementation methods.
- The organization’s technology-adoption posture.
Run the designer #
- Open the organization
Confirm you are working in the correct entity before starting a new baseline.
- Answer for the current state
Rate each factor using evidence and leadership judgment, not aspiration.
- Review before completing
Resolve answers that conflict or depend on assumptions you cannot explain.
- Open the result
Complete the designer to calculate and display the prioritized objective view.
Expected result #
The current interface calculates and displays a scored list of governance and management objectives. Treat the result as a conversation about focus: leadership still decides which gaps to fund, sequence, delegate, or accept. Saving a dated baseline is not yet connected.
